Site Updates

Hey people.  People of the internet.  I've retooled my site a wee bit and will most likely have a couple more changes yet to come.

I've added a "Sketchbook" page up at the top, and moved all of the drawings that were previously in the "Art" gallery over there.  I've also added a ton of new sketches and some old ones that I had previously not posted.  I also we back and rephotographed the drawing and tuned them up with this amazing program called Darktable.  Coolest thing about dark table?  Free and open-source.  Second coolest thing? Every bit as powerful as programs like Apple's Aperture used to be, and yet 10x snappier (actually, I'd argue that it is perhaps a little more powerful than Aperture).  Can't say enough good things about it.

In the coming weeks I'll be working on captioning some or all of the new/old art so stay tuned.

I've kept the "Art" page for the time being as a catch-all for everything non-drawing, which is a fair amount.  Eventually I'm going to add a page for wood and woodworking, but I have to figure out how to get better pictures of the things I've made.  The woodworking page may have the effect of gutting the Art page, but we'll have to see.  I'll likely still keep it around for the few non-drawing, non-wood things I do here and there (like etch-a-sketches!).

It's hotter than a four-balled tomcat here today so I'm going to go try and cool off.
